Spring is a busy time in Breaux Bridge. In April the city hosts the Cycle
Zydeco Tour and the Blooming on the Bayou, garden, arts & crafts show.
The 40 year old Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival is always

The Art Walk is held in September and the Cajun Christmas Bayou Parade is the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

In nearby Lafayette there are many events and festivals to enjoy. After 75 shows, the Louisiana Crossroads Concert Series is still going strong. It’s sponsored by the Acadiana Arts Council & Lafayette Economic Development Authority.
In April the city hosts Festival International de Louisiane, the largest Francophone (French speaking) festival in the United States.
Also in the spring is the Bach Lunch Series that features different musicians performing each week, in styles ranging from Cajun to jazz, blues, folk and percussion, while a variety of area restaurants provide special boxed lunches.

No self-respected Louisiana town would be complete without Mardi Gras celebrations. From January 12 until Mardi Gras Day, February 20 there are endless ways to celebrate this Cajun tradition.
In the fall a visitor can choose from the Festivals Acadiens in Girard Park and in nearby Roberts Cove, a community rich in German heritage; Germanfest is held the first weekend in October.
